In Iran’s Streets, Aid to Hezbollah Stirs Resentment
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/23/world/middleeast/23iran.html?_r=2&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

TEHRAN, July 22 — There is a huge amount of anger here about what is happening in Lebanon, but it is not all the result of Israeli bombs, missiles and artillery. “Of course I am angry,’’ said Hamid Akbari, 30, a deliveryman. “All our income is going to Palestine and Hezbollah.”

“Let them fight with each other until they get tired,” said Reza Muhammadi, 33, who runs a small grocery in the center of town. “Arab countries are not supporting Hezbollah, but my country is? They are giving my share to the Arabs.”

Mr. Muhammad said he worked six days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to feed his family. So, he said, he had no tolerance for his government’s financial commitments abroad. “One percent of our budget has been approved by my Parliament to give to Palestine,” he said. “Why should I not get angry about this?”

2. Is this from the same PR firm that did the Jewish star on clothes in Iran
story?

This sounds like more right wing drivel, especially the end when the man on the street is getting mad about 1% of his taxes being spent on Palestine. What the hell is that? Most people over there sympathize with Palestinians more than their governments do.

Iranians could give a crap about Palestinians. Persians hate Arabs more than anything it's the dictatorship that shoves that garbage down their throats. I also head that the vast majority of people where you live are sympathize with the inbreed cause, you being one of them.

6. Palestinians = inbreds? That's a helpful perspective to bring to issue
So should they be sterilized or just exterminated?

Or are they the people God commanded the Israelites to kill so they could claim Canaan in the Old Testament?

7. So do you think the Persians will thank us when we bomb them and
seize their oil fields near the border of Iraq?

I am Persian I speak for the Persians and Unlike you and I have a right to speak for them so shutup and listen for once. Stop using Iran as your tool you inbred redneck. What gives you the right to wish Iranians to be slaughtered and tortured under a barbaric regime and then used as your tool for Arabs in the mid-east?

10. so you think Bush will make life better for Iranians by killing them and
seizing their oil?

If we weren't on both sides of Iran right now threatening to invade, people like you might have room to kick the religious nuts out.

But just as we did after 9/11, the people over there are going to stand by their leaders in the face of an external threat, whatever their flaws may be.

3. **PETITION AGAINST MILITARY ACTION AGAINST IRAN**
With the world spinning towards WWIII - Iran will be the final quagmire that will forever change our lives.

It is with grave concern that I observe the growing threat of a new U.S. war--this time against the people of Iran.

For a collection of articles and resources on this subject you can visit this link: http://reseaudesign.com/research/iran/iran_summery.html

I'm starting up a petition which I will be sending out to as many members of Congress as possible. I'm asking for help to get this signed by as many people, possible in the next month. Send it to as many people you can.

thanks,
J-shmoe

4. There ya go! Make it real for Iran. And all the supporters of terrorists.
For far too long it has been elites causing the trouble in their free time. For sure Iran needs a mess in Palestine.. otherwise..no way to keep the Islamic fundie revolution going.

And people should know that there.

Which is why Iran and Saudi Arabia should have been formally asked by the UN to step in and replace the U.S. & European aid to Palestine after Hamas won.
