If you can control a resource, then you can gain a position of power over those who need that resource to survive. In our case, money is used to facilitate that position of power.
You pay the owner or the shareholder for the privilege, not the right, to have access to things such as food, medicine, fuel, even a college education. If you have no money, that's too bad. You can subjugate yourself further though as a way to compensate your owner.
In our case, what Chavez is doing represents an undermining of that control. From the capitalist perspective, this is not tolerable. If I were a stone-cold capitalist, I would be complaining as well.
I cannot make a profit if I cannot have control over the resource; therefore, it is a good idea to attempt to destroy Chavez as a threat and reassert total control.
Barton is simply acting as a servant for the people who contributed to his campaign, which is probably the same capitalists who are pissed off right now.
