US Officials: 50 Munitions Sites In Iraq Vulnerable - NYT
About 50 munitions sites in Iraq, containing explosives similar to the ones used in recent bombings, have only light security and are poorly guarded, The New York Times reported in its Saturday edition, citing U.S. officials.

An official from the U.S. Central Command, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the U.S. military operation in Iraq didn't have enough troops to heavily guard all 2,700 identified Iraqi munitions sites, The Times reported on its Web site.

Every ammunition dump has some level of security, the Central Command official said, according to The Times, but the heaviest security has been reserved for sites containing weapons such as rocket-propelled grenades that could be used most readily against allied forces.

2. How conveeeeeeenient.
How many times can they go to well with this "our inconceivable incompetence explains everything" routine before they actually manage to convey the point that they are inconceivably incompetent?

6. Incompetence isn't a valid defense
for military personnel. If you persist in command knowing that you are unfit for it, you are derelict in your duty.

4. light security and are poorly guarded!
And these are top-notch ACME TNT! Enough to blow a Road-runner sky high!

The clever Wiley Coyote approach. First, know you have superior intellect over your foe. And that they read the New York Times.

If this super-clever plan doesn't work, move to operation Abrams, where you leave 'the keys' in M1-Abrams tanks.

*sigh*
