Field hospital in Iraq on alert
NEAR FALLUJAH, IRAQ -- The Cheaters of Death have been preparing for this for six weeks.

The staff at Bravo Surgical Company has built a third operating room, put up two large triage tents, added to their blood bank, brought in the mortuary staff and tried to compartmentalize their emotions so they can get on with their jobs. The scale of casualties in such a battle could be unprecedented in recent history.

If the battle for Fallujah takes place, as expected, could it see the biggest casualties in a single U.S. military engagement since Vietnam?

2. What horror awaits
From the article

"All three were covered in gasoline, apparently a component of the bomb designed to set fire to people on the targeted vehicle."

"We've been living by the creed that if you build it they will come," said Capt. Eric Lovell, an emergency medicine specialist at the hospital."

This hospital, sadly, is the only thing being built around Fallujah.

3. They gonna treat Iraqi citizens too?
Somehow I think not.

May the red states be visited by pestilence and plague equivalent to that of the suffering of the innocents in Iraq.

8. I think not. They'd need more than a couple of tents for that.
How long until "our" military hits 200,000 Iraqi deaths?

10. Iraqi deaths
And just think, among the 100,000 dead Iraqis, there must have
been some unborn babies.

Bush is killing babies in the womb!

Oh, I forgot - Iraqi fetuses are not equal to American fetuses.

11. To be more specific
I think the good Bush Christians would say that Muslim fetuses are not equal to Christian fetuses. I am so ashamed of my country (is it my country?).

5. I Don't Buy A Bit Of It.
And neither should you. The insurgents are probably long gone. Why stay and die when you can just come back later and be insurgent again. This is all for public consumption; scream "we're all gonna die" then boast triumphantly when you don't. Bush'e America will love it.

7. I buy it
Now that Bush has been re-selected, there is no reason to cover up the news.

The more of our boys that die now, the better for Bush. The more dead means more frenzy at our "enemies".

9. Remember Abu Ghrab?
Would you leave your family alone to suffer the ravages of the American troops?

I wouldn't.
