Yahoo news: Lines of Voters Try to Cast Ballots Early

<http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041102/ap_on_el_pr/eln_america_votes>

"Voters trying to beat the rush turned out early to cast ballots in many precincts as Election Day opened, forming long lines that snaked out the doors, waiting in rain and even taking along chairs for expected long waits."

2. My little podunk town in Western PA has two polling places
One at the public library and the other at the fire hall - both were packed this morning. Decided to wait to vote with my wife this evening - I'll take one of the kids in with me to vote.

3. Lines out the door at my polling place KC MO
I've never had more than 2 people ahead of me when I go to vote before work. I allot 5 minutes for this process before I go to work. It took a half hour. Never have a seen that many people and I've been voting here for 10 years. This is mid town Kansas City, MO. My co-workers have all reported similar experiences. This is fantastic.

4. My Little Town Had Lines Too
I only had to wait about 10 minutes to vote, but it was the first time I've ever seen a line here. The line was much longer when I was leaving and the poll worker told me there had been much longer lines all morning.
