ABCNEWS HOLDS TERROR WARNING TAPE

In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding on a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.

ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.

The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.

ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.

"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate ," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning.

The terrorist's face is concealed by a head dress, and speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual, but US intelligence officials believe that man may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman - a southern California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.

According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.

The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

Yes, I am a newbie here. I found this site while looking for information supporting John Kerry. I heard that there were a few message boards out there and stumbled upon this one.

For the record I may be naive, but am NOT a freeper. As I have mentioned, I have been reading Drudge for a while and I don't find him always attacking Dems. I know he was the first to release the Monica Lewinsky information and he does place anti-Kerry articles on his site. He also places anti-Bush articles as well. His latest round of attacks on the media seem to be poised at the control and release of information of the Media outlets regarding anti-Bush stories. Earlier this week he had an article about CBS holding on to the 'missing explosives' article. Many people read Drudge to find out the pressing stories. I have found him to cover most the stories that I am interested in, and he mostly links to yahoo and other sites.

I have many reasons for NOT supporting W. Some I have mentioned on this site before in discussions about outsourcing, health care and Iraq.

Here goes my top 3:

1) Sending my ex boss and friend to Iraq (He is due to go over next month and be there until 2006). I would be working for him now if it wasn't for the Shrub. I just hope he comes back in one piece, physically and mentally.

2) My health care premiums have gone up 40% over the past 4 years. I am a computer consultant. I have to pay for my own health care which runs me about $1,000 per month. I guess I should be happy that I have health care.

3) Outsourcing. I have been in IT for 15 years and this is the worst job environment I have seen for IT. The competition to get a job is fierce and I am constantly having to compete people with H-1 visas and the India job market.

I think I will be around for a while....espcially if the Shrub wins.
