Man knocks himself out stealing campaign signs

(Court TV) — A Republican in Colorado fell flat on his face trying to steal campaign signs touting John Kerry (news - web sites) and other local Democratic candidates.

According to Wheat Ridge Police spokesperson Officer Lisa Stigall, Randal Wagner was already wanted for questioning about a rash of campaign-sign thefts when he was discovered lying unconscious across a stolen sign Oct. 13.

Earlier that evening, a homeowner reported to police that he saw Wagner, 50, cutting down a campaign sign bolted to his fence. The sign was in support of a local Democratic candidate running for Congress.

The man confronted Wagner, who allegedly fled in a truck with his wife. The man gave the vehicle's plate number to police.

Why are you so afraid of John Kerry / John Edwards?

If Bush is so popular and such a hero to the American public then why should you have to tear down any signs?

The truth is these GOP thugs know their boy is losing. I laugh at them because these stupid little sign stealer's mean nothing to Bush, Inc. They could care less if they live or die. They sit back and laugh at these bozo's defending them when they know they are stealing form them and theta children.

I live in Indiana. Indiana has gone GOP every presidential election since Lyndon Johnson. Indiana was the very first state to go to the GOP in 2000. Yet we have bozo's stealing signs here too. Bush has a 20 + point lead on Kerry according to 'Poll's'

I Will say this though Bush will win Indiana but not by a wide a margin as he did last time. I have seen plenty of Kerry signs many times more than I did Gore.

Bush, Inc its followers know they are in really big trouble and they are desperate.

CNN/MSNBC/FOX/NBC/CBS/ABC and the rest can go to GOP hell. The truth is Kerry or flat out leading Bush and they know it.

So screw all of you GOP assholes.

12. Write "thou shall not steal" on the sign

My good friend lives in a very conservative rural community.
They have posted K-E signs and signs for local dems at the corner of their property where two roads meet. They have already lost one K-E sign. So, when she put up the backup sign, she wrote "thou shall not steal" on the sign. I'm sure that the sign stealers are the same folks that have the 10 commandments signs (very popular in our area) posted in their yard right next to the B-C 2004 signs. My idea is to make an oily paste of crushed poison ivy leaves (there is a huge patch at the entrance to their farm) and paint it on the sign. Another good idea would be to wire the metal frame of the sign to a wire through the woods connected to the electric pasture fence. That electric fence gives you quite a jolt!
