Vandals desecrate Jewish cemetery in Germany

JUELICH, Germany - A Jewish cemetery in a small German city was discovered vandalized Friday by a woman visiting a grave, police said.

Nazi swastikas and other illegal and anti-Jewish symbols were scrawled onto grave stones.

There was no immediate indication of suspects, and it was not clear how long the graffiti might have gone undiscovered.

Juelich is in the German state of North Rhein-Westphalia.
