1. Yeeeeaaaahhhhhhaaaawwwww!
A larger sampling would surely have given Kerry an even larger margin! Fear not, we are the MAJORITY!

2. We can't be trailing in WI by 8 and leading in MI by 6.
States don't break from their normal trends that much.

6. I was just about to say that
Gore won Michigan by around 5 percent and Wisconsin by less than 1 percent, so there's no way Kerry is doing slightly better than Gore in MI and considerably worse in WI.

7. I think that the record number of personal bankruptcies, record
homelessness, and record number of folks in the 18-30 age group living with their parents or with a number of roommates since Bu$h was selected has really skewed the polls.

This is actually good for Democrats, because established polling methods therefore exclude a significant bloc of Kerry voters.

4. Bush AWOL in Texas, AWOL in Alabama, AWOL in D.C.
Can't somebody get rid of him in Michigan? Sick of these visits. All his entourage does is tie up traffic.

Michgan to Bush: Go AWOL in the Great Lakes---Please!

8. I've been telling people for weeks not to worry about Michigan
We are going to blow Bush away here. Note that the TRsmussen released today is almost identical to these results.

9. In Kalamazoo, KERRY-EDWARDS yard signs are popping up like daisies in May
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 09:14 PM by KzooDem
Kalamazoo is in SW Michigan which tends to be conservative and Republican.

I live on the edge of the wealthiest neighborhood in Kalamazoo and drive through it and another solidly upper-middle class neighborhood on the way to work. I'm talking neighborhoods where people have large, manicured lawns maintained by lawn services.

Many of these lawns are, to my amazement, sporting Kerry Edwards lawn signs. Out of 28 yard signs on my route to work, 19 of them are Kerry signs. This in in an area I would have pegged the residents as white, wealthy and Republican. Every day I notice a new one popping up.

I think the Boy King will be in for a rude awakening when the results come rolling in on the night of Nov. 2.

11. Same Story In Grand Rapids
I live very close to downtown and K/E signs outnumber B/C 3 to 1. Once you get out into the suburbs though, it evens up a little. Lots of Kerry bumper-stickers too. It's almost shocking to see.
