Several killed in US attack on Falluja
Sunday 19 September 2004

Four Iraqis have been killed by fire from US armoured vehicles in Falluja, a hospital doctor says.

Dr Ali Muhammad of Talib al-Janabi hospital said the men were killed when US forces, trying to wrest control of Falluja from fighters on Sunday, opened fire in the east of the town.

Earlier, witnesses and doctors said US forces had killed four others in an air strike late on Saturday.

1. Sad, very sad indeed.
These type of posts don't seem to be getting much reaction anymore. Sadly we're all becoming inured to them, day in and day out more dead and wounded. I grieve for those killed and their families. The dead are actually the lucky ones here. The families of these people must bear the emotional and physical scars for their entire lives.

However, George Bush is pleased with the progress being made there so I guess everything is OK. :puke:
