From newspaper of today:

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Ultraconservative Spanish Government has returned to subsidize the Foundation General Francisco Franco with a total of 26,690 euros (about 4.4 million pesetas). The Government disregards therefore the critics of all the parties of the parliamentary arc, except for the ultraright Popular Party, that censured this familiar organization, presided by Carmen Franco, daughter of the bloody Caudillo, receiving public aids. The money granted to the Foundation Generalisimo Franco figure within the subventions that the Ministry of Culture grants to organizations without profit spirit to develop "archivístic projects". The resolution of the secretariat of State of Culture by which the concession of these aids is decided dates from the 23 of July of the 2003, although its publication in the BOE (Official Bulletin of State) has not been carried out until the past Thursday.

There is no foundation in the world that, with public money, is dedicated to gloss Hitler, Videla, Stalin or other genocides.
The Spain of the "democratic" PP is very different.
