Blasts kill three in southern Russia

Three people have been killed and 17 injured in three explosions in a southern Russian city, local officials say.

Police and civil emergency officials in Krasnodar said the blasts occurred at three public transport stations.

Police were reluctant to say what caused the explosions.

"I would not advise you to talk about a terrorist act at the moment since there has been no official statement describing them as such," a police spokeswoman told Reuters.
