Hall of Fame Bengals tackle to head Bush-Cheney campaign in southwest Ohio
CINCINNATI (AP)

Former Cincinnati Bengals tackle Anthony Munoz, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, was named Wednesday to head the Bush-Cheney campaign in southwest Ohio.

Munoz succeeds Hamilton County Prosecutor Mike Allen, who resigned last month after being sued by a female assistant prosecutor who accused him of sexual harassment. Allen, who is married to a Hamilton County Municipal Court judge, has admitted to a 3 1/2 year extramarital affair with his employee but contends the relationship was consensual.

Munoz, 46, of Mason, will oversee day-to-day operations of the Bush campaign in eight southwest Ohio counties. ..

1. He's a long way from L.A.

He's a SCRAP and a sell out. Fucking moron. Money and fame earned while playing ball turned him into freeper sell out. If not for sports he would be just another working stiff in L.A. wondering how to care for his family and how to keep his kids out of Iraq.

6. Damn it! Munoz cana actually speak and form sentences. And no matter
you're political stripe, if you're a football fan, he was a top-notch player. And that's why it saddens me that I have to lower my respect for him, he's smart enough to know better.

That being said, can any SW Ohio DUers get to him, preferably while being filmed, and ask him to comment on bush*s aWol/desertion while it's still only his first day in his new post?

7. The Bengals were big in the barrio because of Munoz and another
hispanic offensive linenman who played with QB Boomer Esiason. Munoz decided to sell out poor folks in order to enrichen his own fat ass.

He went from playing an offensive lineman, to just plain offensive.
