Kerry picks G-O-P convention site to call for renewed debate over issues
<BOSTON John Kerry has picked the city hosting next week's Republican National Convention to call on his rivals to focus on the issues and give up the negative attacks.

For the past week Kerry has been defending his record in Vietnam against groups that say he didn't fully earn all of the medals he received during the war.

In an advance copy of a speech he's to give in New York, the Democratic presidential nominee says Republicans are trying to hide behind "words, slogans and personal attacks" while avoiding the main issues.

A Bush campaign spokesman says Kerry has been "relentlessly negative" and has not condemned ads by liberal groups that attack the president.>

1. I'm glad
Bush is hiding behind the controversy and people need to hear the real issues - that's what will keep Bush from being reelected.

But nice of the Bush campaign to lie yet again - we all know Kerry told MoveOn to pull an ad - I think Nixon had more integrity than Bush...

Actually dopey, if you check the record * has been the one that has been relentlessly negative and LYING.

Not to mention Bush has yet to truly condemn the swifties or even address them in a sentence.

Why should Kerry condemn ads which speak the TRUTH about *? see that's why I don't want to see ANYONE condemn ANYTHING, you cannot compare the swifties with MoveOn running ads that claim that the next generation including my own and probably the one after it will be paying for this huge deficit that * has unmasked.

You call that being negative? you call that lying? I call it the fucking truth so mr campaign rep for * stick it in your ass ya putz.

Anyone wanna hire me to be a rep for Johnny K? :)
