Also on Drudge. This is a major blow to the swiftboat liars, whose entire campaign of filthy lies is predicated on their hatred of what Kerry did for Vietnam Vets Against the War. What really bugs these guys is not what Kerry did in Vietnam, but what he did afterwards. So they feel entitled to lie about his service record.

Call and email all the major media to make sure this retraction is played over and over again on CNN, MSNBC, etc. This is devastating to the swiftboat liars and essentially destroys their credibility.

This is just not going well for the liars. They wanted to hurt Kerry... but it just isn't going to happen. News articles on the story have one paragraph on the BS charges, and then the rest of the article is info from the campaign: that's not the doctor, they didn't serve with him, this thing is funded by a bunch of sleazebags, they've been after Kerry forever, etc. Plus the McCain thing. And, although they're being slimy about it, the Bushies were forced to go on the defensive over this one. And now one of their guys is backing out.

It just all fell apart, and it's about time.

CNN is giving their ad a lot of free time in the name of covering this "story."
