WASHINGTON (AP) -- Molly Bordonaro, a former Republican candidate for Congress who served as Pacific states chair of President Bush's 2000 campaign, will head Bush's re-election campaign in the Northwest.
Bordonaro, of Portland, narrowly lost to Rep. David Wu, D-Ore., in 1998. She is a principal in the Portland office of the Gallatin Group, a Seattle- based consulting firm, and serves on the board of directors of the Fannie Mae Corp., a presidentially appointed post.
Bordonaro will direct the Bush-Cheney effort in the Northwest, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, the Bush campaign said.

Will all the sanctimonious Republicans who have recently excoriated Bill Clinton for lying to cover up personal weakness then step forward and damn Bordonaro for lying, if and when she votes in favor of vouchers for private schools, extreme restrictions on abortion rights, and supports the widespread availability of assault weapons?http://quixote-quest.org/resources/oregon_politics/bordonaro_lies.html
