Two Russian workers slain in Iraq
I can't find the story now, but I remember a week or two ago, in looking into the Nick Berg murder, it turned out that Berg had an Iraqi business partner, who apparently had some kind of relationship with nefarious Russians.

One of the speculations surrounding the Berg murder was that the murderers were possibly Russian mafia, employed for this task in order to win release of the Russian hostages being held.

I can't see how this new story fits in, but I thought I would throw it out there in case there is some insight that I am missing.

" Two Russian civilian contractors were killed Wednesday and five wounded after gunmen opened fire on their bus south of Baghdad, according to a hospital official and a statement from Russia's Foreign Ministry in Moscow.

The attack comes a little over two weeks after a contractor from the same firm, Russia's InterEnergoServis (IES) Company, was gunned down in the same area.

The attack Wednesday happened as the bus, which was protected by Iraqi police, approached the Dora power station where IES is stationed, according to the company's chief executive officer Alexander Rybinsky.
