Bush protests could attract hundreds (Tucson)
ARIZONA DAILY STAR

Nurses in hospital scrubs, gay couples looking to tie the knot - even a Smokey Bear look-alike - could be vying for the limelight Monday when President Bush comes to town.

At least two major protests are planned in Tucson, and organizers expect hundreds of participants from environment groups, the peace movement and others opposed to an array of White House policies.

There's almost no chance that any of the protesters will get close enough to see the president in person, but that's not the point, they say. ---

1. RIGHT ON!!!
I was raised in southern Arizona and Tucson is part of my old stompin' grounds. It's great to hear that the good folks of Tucson are letting their displeasure with the chimp show. BRAVO!
