Bush Daughters to Work in Father's Campaign
Edited on Tue May-18-04 07:03 PM by kskiska
AS VEGAS (Reuters) - President Bush's twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara, will work for their father's re-election campaign after they graduate from college this month, their mother, Laura Bush, said on Tuesday.

(snip)

"They are going to work on the campaign," Mrs. Bush said in an interview.

She said they would probably work at campaign headquarters in the Washington suburbs but may go out a bit and campaign for their father, "if they have the confidence."

Do you think they can fit it around their hectic party schedule? These girls are fun-loving and I don't see how they will have time for campaign stuff. Also, wouldn't showing up for a campaign function with a hangover be somewhat detrimental to the cause?

17. Hey, their dad worked hard to get named the "Texas Souffle" while working
on a campaign while he was AWOL. One of his coworkers pinned it on him saying that while they look real good, there isn't a whole lot on the inside.

7. heh, heh, heh
I hope the paparazzi are going to follow them as closely as they're folling Kerry's daughters. The idiot who took the picture of Alexandra Kerry in that chiffon dress should be shot--I'd love to see some great ones of Barbara and Jenna whooping it up and getting smashed at local bars.

If the pukes think that Kerry's daughters are fodder, then certainly the reverse is true--especially since the twins are not exactly known for being demure and principled. I can't wait.

I can see it now: Daddy rescuing them from bars as drunk as they could possibly be--I suppose the SS will keep them out of some trouble, so they won't be like their mother, mowing down pedestrians while driving, at least.

16. To be fair, the photographer was only doing his job.
I'm sorry Kerry's daughter chose to wear such a dress in public when the fate of the world is riding on her father's election.

23. Such a Dress?
What prompts you to say such a thing? Kerry has a beautiful
daughter, and the picture of her in her dress is flattering.

I see nothing wrong with it what so ever.

8. Which is it?
Are they or are they not attending the graduations of their daughters? First a report that they're not, then a report that they are..which is it? Born friggin liars! Trying to keep protestors away?? Total failure, murderers-both of them, and a disgrace to all...I bet those twins don't want to work that camp but are being pressured by the old bat babs!

"Their parents, while not attending graduation ceremonies to avoid the disruption, are flying to parties for family and friends in Austin, Texas, and New Haven, Connecticut."

10. Has Laura told the girls she's planned their summer yet?
I just imagine her comment (above) with a great emphasis on the "are". Like when I was about 5 and my mother dragged me out from under the bed saying "You ARE going to the doctor and you ARE going to get your polio shot." (I really hated shots.)

14. "Confidence?"

That is such a Whopper!
Anyone that can party all night and roill on the floor has enough confidence to stuff an envelope.

I would keep these two under lock and key.
If you let them out they may get picked up.

Are they really graduating or are they receiving diplomas as a gesture of Affirmative Action on behalf of their $$?

19. This makes them fair game, I'm afraid
If they're on the campaign trail, then they're open to scrutiny. It's the consequence of backing up their moronic daddy.

If they weren't on the campaign trail, I'd say: leave the girls alone.

So which is it, girls? There are consequences to your actions, ya know.

21. Between appearances they'll be held as enemy combatants
I expect they'll be held tighter than the prisoners at Camp X-ray.

Those girls love to party with the MTV A list. It's gotta be a bummer to have to do all that civics work when you could be sharing a hooka with a star from "That 70's Show"
