DALLAS -- A joint investigation conducted by Dallas police and FBI agents has uncovered an Internet-based child pornography operation with 23,000 customers throughout the United States, officials said Monday.

Operation Site-Key, which began in April 2001, has so far resulted in 51 convictions in the United States for possession of child pornography. With a list of 23,000 suspected subscribers of child pornography Web sites, police and FBI agents warn they're just getting started.

"They don't get rid of it," Dallas police Lt. Bill Walsh said of the subscribers. "The images we're talking about are hard-core child pornography, everything from infants up to the age of majority.

"Some of them have got it as wallpaper on their computers.

If the pics go up to the age of majority, obviously that would not constitute child pornography would it? I hope all DU'ers who use Kazaa and the like make sure that they do not seek out adult porn pics or vid clips and accidentally get child porn pics. Be very, very careful. You love pictures of naked women. I love pictures of naked women. Hell, I just love women period.

I get stuff in my various email boxes all the time that's clearly porn, and usually I open it just in case it might be interesting (never is). But there are times when I open something and think, "There's NO WAY she's 18!" Then I hit delete as fast as possible and hope Johnny A ain't lookin my way.

Those borderline-legal models are kinda scary and depressing anyway. How sad their lives must be... I wonder if you're a hardcore porn model at 18 (or 17, or 15) whether there's any way you could ever be happy in a real, meaningful relationship. Seems like it would sour an impressionable young person on the whole idea of love.

Porn... so like everything else in our culture. Everything must be "XTREME." Teens who look pre-pubescent, or grandmonthers. "Multiple penetrations by monster circus cocks!" No middle ground, no pretense of actual attraction or romance or even reality. Beh! Who looks at this shit?

their feet in both adult and child porn. Thus, I think that people should be cautious when contributing to ANY of these monsters KWIM?
