Moussa calls for joint Arab action against Israel

KUWAIT CITY, April 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa on Sunday described the ongoing Arab-Israeli situation as "very negative" and called for "a joint political and diplomaticaction in a bid to protect Arab interests".

Speaking to reporters upon his arrival here, the top Arab diplomat stressed that the Arab-Israeli conflict was an important issue that would be examined at a ministerial level or a leaders' meeting."

The agenda of the upcoming Arab summit would include the Palestinian and Iraqi issues, he added.

Moussa emphasized that it is necessary to face "Israel's criminal policies," which he said has "reached its limits", with a serious Arab stance.

2. I think the Arabs are too scared to do anything meaningful...they know

that Israel is the only ME nation that has WMDs. It wasn't Iraq or Syria or Iran. It's Israel that has the nuclear and bio-weapons.
