Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz, Israel tell Weiner he should resign

(CNN) - House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and DCCC chair Steve Israel have told Rep. Anthony Weiner he should resign.

Pelosi released the following statement Saturday:

“Congressman Weiner has the love of his family, the confidence of his constituents, and the recognition that he needs help. I urge Congressman Weiner to seek that help without the pressures of being a Member of Congress.”

3. It makes no sense to note Weiner has "the confidence of his constituents"

as you call for his resignation.

If you believe that, leave it up to his constituents as to the direction they call for him to take.

Is there a glitch in here today? I am seeing an OP that says Israel is telling him to leave. Is that a joke? Because maybe it's just me, but since when do foreign nations tell our representatives what to do?

I was confused by that at first, too.

There is some odd glitch going on today at DU.
