Australian police unearth global pedophile ring

An Australian investigation has unearthed an international network of pedophile parents who abuse their own children and share images of the assaults.

The operation by Queensland police, Task Force Argos, has led to the break-up of the major international pedophile ring of parents, with arrests in the US and Britain.

The breakthrough came when officers from Task Force Argos, a team of police targeting online predators, intercepted an email sent to a known Australian sex offender containing pornographic photos of children.

Investigative leads in Australia were sent to authorities in the US and Britain, which unearthed a network of parents who abused their own children and shared images of the assaults via the internet.

8. Doubtful. I sat on a Grand Jury dealing with three cases of kiddie porn.

It's absolutely sick. I had to view images that were disgusting and heart breaking.
Imagine the worst, and it was worse than that. Barely a dry eye in the house that day.
One of the women on the jury had to leave the room in order to regain her composure.

I know these sorts of cases are upsetting but if we blindly believe press reports about sexual based offenses and immediately judge just because the police tell us it is so, then we can be blinded into believing just about anything.

Express your disgust about the nature of abuse but I thought people on here at least are wary of taking any report at face value.

the Assange matter should at least teach us to be wary until proof is delivered.

but if these adults are abusing (especially their own children who depend on them to keep them safe in this unjust world)innocents, they are beyond redemption. The poor children will suffer a lifetime of psychological and possibly medical problems.
I doubt most of what "Alex Jones" spews, but I remember, about a decade ago, he was accusing our nations elite (including both Bush Presidents) of taking part in in an international pedophile ring. The children were supposedly taken to these "ruling class" people to be sexually abused.
I remember thinking (at the time) that if this was not true, how could these people allow Jones to say this without taking legal action against him.
I can think of no more heinous crime, deserving of the harshest punishment, than abusing these innocent children. I realize that this behavior has been around since the "beginning", IMO these people should be (if guilty) removed from our society.
Given the entitlement our rulers feel,(this is not a part of the current allegations) I would not be surprised that these evil people would stop at nothing to fulfill their sick desires. If memory serves me, there was a "gag order" placed on the (now grown) woman who accused the Bushes and others of sexually abusing them, for "national security"...really.

I don't remember it from the time, but I learned of it later and not from A.J. I can't quite recall the kid's name. It seemed to be sex slave ring in operation.

17. What you do to these people when they are convicted

Put them in general population in jail. Let that society take care of business. There is "honour among thieves" and they will be dealt with severly...even common criminals don't take kindly to pedo's
