Palin tells ABC News she can beat Obama in 2012
Edited on Wed Nov-17-10 05:39 PM by Stuart G
Source: Yahoo News.

If she decides to run for president in 2012, Sarah Palin thinks she can beat President Obama. That's according to an interview the ex-Alaska governor conducted with ABC's Barbara Walters.

Echoing her comments to the New York Times Magazine, Palin tells Walters that she's seriously considering a 2012 run.

"I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin says.

Asked if she can beat Obama, Palin tells Walters, "I believe so

1. She means beat him with a stick
because in her mind a black man has one place, as a slave to a white person. There is something seriously wrong with this woman.

5. It is all about the money, she isn't going to run for anything..
She really doesn't like to answer questions that are in anyway unkind..She will never run again.
She will run to the bank, because that is what she is about.

44. Very true...I'm surprised more people haven't wised up
Media just keep feeding the celebrity monster. Palin at least has to keep up appearances so she can keep hoarding the spotlight and PAC money...She'll keep the ruse going until New Hampshire and then drop out for the good of whatever candidate the party is backing...

And then after, she'll probably have her own Fox show, more documentaries, and her kids will be old enough to start pretending to be involved in politics, and we'll never get rid of them....

31. Hey MichiganVote - I love that! "The Walk-Away Governor."
Or "The Walk-Away HALF Governor."

Honest to God, we've got to start coming up with the bumper-sticker talking points if we're ever going to cut through the bullshit. A long, ponderous, professorial explanation just doesn't cut it with the Low-Information-Voter/Short-Attention-Span-Theater crowd.

10. Who will get more votes, who's more delusional - Palin or Alvin Greene? LOL
Alvin Greene: 'I'm The Next President'

SNIP

"I'm the next president," Greene said, while sitting on a bench. "I'll be 35 ... just before November, so I was born to be president. I'm the man. I'm the man. I'm the man. Greene's the man. I'm the man. I'm the greatest person ever. I was born to be president. I'm the man, I'm the greatest individual ever."

35. Don't bet on it. . .
I have a sneaking feeling that we're stuck with this idiot for the rest of our lives. The mainstream media will continue to give her free air time for no reason at all. She has zero credibility, and there's no goddamned reason she should be on any news channel, as she doesn't merit any attention at all. She's a swine. But she'll continue to be on the front page of all newspapers & the lead story on every fucking news channel for what reason? I don't think I can bear any more.

18. She's
...got disapproval numbers already in the 50's and near-100% name recognition -- that means there's next to no upside potential. Her campaign begins to go downhill 20 seconds after it's announced. Which is when I short it on Intrade.

She won't win a single primary and she'll be gone by Super Tuesday.

21. She will NOT run
All the speculation is geared towards generating book sales and speaking engagements for cash. She will keep doing this right up until just before the filing deadline for new Hampshire, which is when she will walk out the front of her house and "tearfully" announce that she will not run so she can focus on her (most assuredly growing) family. Right wing pundits and radio hosts will of course praise her "pro-family" decision.
