WASHINGTON (AFP) - US national security advisor Condoleezza Rice (news - web sites) will testify under oath on April 8 before the commission investigating the September 11 attacks, a White House official said.

Rice had earlier said she wanted to testify in public but was constrained by the constitutional separation of the executive and legislative branches of government.
