NORTH CAROLINA -- Services are pending for Army Sgt. Amanda Sheldon of the Belding area, who police and family members confirm took her own life in her off-campus home near Fort Bragg.

Sheldon, 24, was found unresponsive in her Fayetteville home last Wednesday and died Thursday at a hospital.

She was a 2004 graduate of Belding High School and joined the Army in 2005. She was a supply sergeant with the 18th Fires Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division.

She was expected to be deployed to Afghanistan at the end of October. Funeral arrangements were incomplete.

1. Since 9/11 we have lost more soldiers to suicide than...
to combat deaths in Iraq & Afghanistan COMBINED! And I know most Americans have no clue! Again, where is this anti-war left wing media the Right Wing Media is always warning everyone about?
