Terry (R-Ne) wants hearing on (destroyed) EPA documents
Source: Omaha World Herald

By Joseph Morton

WASHINGTON — Rep. Lee Terry on Wednesday called for a congressional hearing on claims that Environmental Protection Agency officials destroyed documents related to lead-contaminated properties in Omaha.

Terry, R-Neb., requested the hearing in a letter to top Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Terry is a member of that committee.

Union Pacific alleges that agency officials have encouraged the destruction of documents to avoid releasing them. The railroad says the documents could bolster its claims that it should not be held responsible for the contamination, which affects about 5,600 properties.

4. In a 2000 deal worth more than $4.4 billion, Anadarko acquired Union Pacific

Anadarko is BP's partner, both in the Gulf of Mexico and in the western US states.

In this instance this GOPer is protecting BigOil.

3. Just a few questions...like,
"Union Pacific alleges that agency officials have..."

So, NAME NAMES! Period!

"...the contamination, which affects about 5,600 properties."

When? You mean only since Prez O took office?

Smells to HIGH HEAVEN of another RushTurdLican't, trying to smear this President.
