Nevada's Angle retracts comment to 'take out' Reid

LOS ANGELES -- Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle backed away Tuesday from remarks in which she referred to the Second Amendment right to bear arms and the need to "take ... out" Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Angle, in her first extended Nevada interview since winning the June 8 primary, said she was speaking broadly about the Constitution and her words about the Democratic leader were "a little strong."

The Republican nominee stopped short of an apology but said she no longer uses that phrase.

"I meant take him out of office, and taking him out of office is a little different," Angle said. "I changed my rhetoric."

I swear many Christians will come up with some wild & crazy ways to "OK" the evils of their Bible.

However, where in the Bible does god talk about abortion? I know the god of the Bible is ok with child rape, incest & rape of women in general, so, I guess I can see why Angle thinks child rapist are doing the god of the Bible's work...Typical Bronze Age thinking in the 21st Century!

If she & all the other Tea Party freaks win and the Republicans take over Congress then that will mark the beginning of the end of Secular America! I sure hope this does not happen.

I have a hard time imagining that Nevada voters will overlook the lunacy this woman represents. Angle is ahead in the polls right now. That should change as she is forced to speak and reveal her ideas more as election day nears. At least I hope so.

Hopefully a Reid victory in November will put a stop to much of the teabaggers momentum. Their philosophy is not supported by most Nevadans.
