Iraq War "Boost" to terror fear
It would appear that the invasion of Iraq didn't acheive as much as Mr Bush wishes it did.

"The invasion of Iraq may have hampered the war against international terrorism, warns a committee of MPs. "

1. "may" ...LOL
Of course it has. Many have said so before the war. And the reasons in the article are just scratching the surface.
1. The coalition was not able to sell itself as "the good guys", thus strenghtening anti-western resentments.

2. If WMD have existed in Iraq before the war, those may be in terrorist hands now.

3. Afghanistan is not under control; with the US-military absorbed in Iraq terrorists have little to fear elsewhere.
...

The "allies" part in the Article is BS IMHO. The joint effort in fighting terrorism wasn't hampered by the pre-war exchanges of arguments.
