1. BP plays "Mr. Nice Guy" ~ not
"QCR’s will be paid $18 an hour and supervisors will earn $32 an hour."

I hope they get good medical care provided after doing all the work that needs to be done.

None union ~ right?

2. That includes prisoners.
In early May, at least 80 Louisiana state prisoners were trained to clean birds by listening to a presentation and watching a video. It was a work force never envisioned in the plans, which contain no detailed references to how birds would be cleansed of oil.

5. Well, isn't that NICE of them.....
....BP has possibly destroyed Florida's beaches, but now they're going to temporarily pull a few people out of the unemployment line and have them TRY to clean up the horrid mess they've made. Pay will probably be about $10/hr with no health insurance benefits. What a benevolent bunch of souls!

I will push my stalled car up a mountain before I ever put one drop of BP gas in my car again.
