Palin 'has been vocal about condeming violence,' aide says
Source: CNN

Washington (CNN) - Sarah Palin's team is fighting back against some Democratic claims that the former Alaska governor is encouraging threats of violence against members of Congress who voted in favor of health care reform.

Democratic officials and liberal Web sites are upset that Palin used an image of crosshairs in a Facebook post this week listing 20 vulnerable Democrats who voted for the legislation. She plans to target them this election year with money from her political action committee.

One House member mentioned the Facebook posting during a Wednesday meeting on safety concerns, a Democratic source told CNN's Dana Bash. Mention of the map brought audible groans to the room, the source said.

...

Sen. John McCain, who tapped Palin as his running mate during his 2008 presidential bid, defended Palin's Facebook posting on NBC's "Today Show" Thursday.

"I have seen the rhetoric of targeted districts as long as I've been in politics, please," McCain said. "Any threat of violence is terrible but to say there that there is a targeted district or that we reload or go back into the fight again, please, those are fine, they are used all the time."

2. I've never heard anyone say "Reload" when referring to an upcoming
election season. Enough can't be sad about her despicable attempts to stay relevant.

5. Hey, McCain, "You lie" and your little dog, too. "Reload" plus crosshairs are NOT standard
operating procedure.

Palin, "You lie," too. You have not been vocal about condemning violence. To the contrary, you did your best to incite your fellow rednecks all during the campaign.

Both of you, sit down and shut up, like the losers you are.

10. this is your brain on 2nd amendment absolutism
palin isn't rovian enough to have considered that it could be an incitement to violence.

she just thinks in firearm terminology, so does todd, and so does her staff.

republicans have ghost writers penning anything that comes from her, audio or Internet. But I'm sure you knew that.

15. hence the staff reference
but it does reveal the mindset - they THINK in terms of firearms. even mccain, who dismisses the implied threats.

is being invited. But she expects us to be too stupid to catch her at it.

21. I wish they'd spare us the bs. We've had enough. Those people give Christianity a bad name
I'll bet they've never even read the Bible. Just carried it around to fool their sheeple base. Absolutely disgusting all of them.

By the way...Palin ALWAYS encourages violence with her racist rantings. Never once told the truth about all of the lies she spews either. She just lets them ferment to the boiling point. And as for the "targeted districts" and "crosshairs". I've never seen them used in this blatant a display before and I'm 61 years old. There is no disputing what it signifies. Pay attentionn people, especially to "nutjob" crap like their into. You never know when they're not going to like something you do or don't do. Thank God for Obama.

is repeatedly exposing her own willful, intense ignorance. Thanks, old man, for foisting this dizzyingly stupid figure upon the American political stage.

26. The better eay to make your point...
if you are Sarah Palin or these types is to place a push-pin, x, even a generic "target/bullseye" (as long it's not red, that's trademarked) will get the point across that you want those people to be dismissed from office. Of course, this would take thought, brain power, intelligence, and civility, attributes of which this crowd is in very short supply.
