US cancels controversial Iraq pregnancy rules
December 27, 2009

The US army has cancelled controversial rules that punish soldiers in north Iraq who fall pregnant or who impregnate a female soldier, an American military spokeswoman said yesterday.

1. If they didn't think this through what else did they fail to think through?
I don't have confidence in Cucolo's leadership.

If they really want to set rules in place they need to have rules they can implement already authorized by the top command. And then if there is a need for rules other than those authorized in general then they need to receive approval. None of this commanders of forces deciding on their own any new rules they want to implement.

2. Cucolo has got to be politically tone-deaf to have thought...
he'd get away with that kind of baloney under a Democratic administration.

6. "Fall pregnant"
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I first heard that "phrasal verb" from a dear one brought up in South Africa. I doubled over laughing at the doubles on every level!

She had twins.
