(White) Supremacists rented NH hall

White supremacists rallied at an American Legion hall in Loudon Saturday night after another veterans group shut them out of a Boston meeting hall last week, a state American Legion director said yesterday.

American Legion Post 88 staff apparently were duped into renting out the South Village Road hall and didn't know it would be used to host a Patriot Action event organized by East Coast White Unity in Boston and Volksfront, said Donald I. Holmquist, department adjutant for the American Legion in New Hampshire.

The Patriot Action event initially was scheduled to be held at a Veterans of Foreign Wars hall in South Boston. It was relocated to Loudon after the post, under pressure from opponents, turned organizers away, said Billy Roper, chairman of the Arkansas-based white nationalist organization called White Revolution.

Roper said the Loudon hall was among several alternative locations organizers booked in New Hampshire and Massachusetts should they be turned away from a site.

The post commander has lawyered up and isn't saying anything. Something smells wrong.

5. On the one hand, I am proud that the
Boston Post saw through these turds with a checkbook and refused to rent a hall to them. On the other other, I am humiliated that they come from Boston, a city, run by a Democratic Mayor, in a northeastern state, run by a Democratic Governor, that is supposedly THE bluest state in the nation.

To quote from Kucinich's DNC speech: Wake up, America.

This is war.

7. The good news is they could only muster 100-200 of these losers.
Given the population of the Boston metro, that's a pretty small "klan."

10. Today's Monitor article
http://www.concordmonitor.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090414/FRONTPAGE/904140303

"Roper said it's not uncommon for white nationalist groups to double-book, or even triple- and quadruple-book, spaces to ensure they will have a backup place to meet. He blamed the news media, the government and communists for misinforming people about their work.

"People think there are evil, racist, domestic terrorists coming to their town," Roper said. "The American Legion or others might not agree with us politically, but the fact is, we see ourselves as the true American patriots.

"The communists who want to do battle with us? They're much more dangerous," he said. "But we've taken advantage of this to get our message out. They failed and have given us a greater megaphone."

Roper said he didn't know whether Legion officials knew the event was slated for white nationalists. "People don't generally ask," Roper said. "April 11 is my birthday. Legitimately, that's how it could have been described."
:hurts: :grr: :nuke:
Ok, they conned the post Commander, who's likely an old mossback who would've rented to the Klan if they told him they were wearing chior robes. I dunno, me.
