US Convoy Hit By Grenade

(IsraelNN.com) The Associated Press reported a short while ago that one American soldier was killed and three more injured in Baghdad. The casualties, reported by an eyewitness, are said to have taken place when a hand grenade was hurled by Iraqi opposition forces into a military convoy in which they were traveling.

I think this is another grenade attack, different from the one reported earlier today, which killed two. This just happened.

2. NO NO NO - It is the SAME incident

Godammit!

The grenade attack this morning did not kill two, except in unconfirmed reports from the scene. This is the same incident, confirmed by CentCom, noting that "only" (ugh) one soldier died in the grenade attack this morning.

No doubt, another is gravely injured, since people on the scene thought he was dead.

But this is the same incident that is now taking up FOUR fucking threads. And you wonder why people are confused. Read the damn stories. Each attack is easily distinguishable by time of attack, method of attack, and location of attack.
