The state's unemployment rate hit a near 25-year high of 9.4 percent in February as job losses continued in both manufacturing and services, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services reported Friday.

Joblessness increased from 8.8 percent in January amid further weakness in the state's job market, the department said.
