Brennan out of running for top intel post
Source: AP News

WASHINGTON (AP) — John Brennan, President-elect Barack Obama's top adviser on intelligence, has taken his name out of the running for any intelligence position in the new administration.

In a letter Tuesday, Brennan wrote letter to Obama that he did not want to be a distraction. His potential appointment has raised a firestorm in liberal blogs who associate him with the Bush administration's interrogation, detention and rendition policies.

"The fact that I was not involved in the decisionmaking process for any of these controversial policies and actions has been ignored," he wrote, in a letter obtained by The Associated Press.

3. This guy's a cancer. I hope Jamie Mischak is next, that traitor.
She's the one who wrote Colin Powell's speech that he gave to the UN, the one with 28 reasons to go to war, all of which were later disproved.

4. What a cop out
Not being involved in the decision making.

He has very dirty hands by being involved in many of the other aspects of getting this policy made into law, but he thinks that since he was not involved in the final decision making aspect he is free of blame?

Good riddance to bad rubbish.
