Police found a cache of weapons and bomb-making materials Friday inside the bedroom of a 14-year-old boy who wrote that he wanted to blow up Graham Park Middle School, according to officers and court records.

William Alexander, 14, of 3865 Oriole Court in Montclair, had collected three shotguns, three rifles, two scopes, two handguns, nine knives, several gun cases, holsters, ammunition clips, containers filled with gunpowder, military-style harnesses, canteens, walkie-talkies and an inert grenade with no working parts, according to a warrant filed in Prince William Circuit Court on Monday.

Officers also found a note dated April 15, 2003, in which Alexander threatened to blow up Graham Park Middle School, police said. According to records, the note said a bomb had already been planted inside the school and "would make a crater the size of D.C."

He is charged with brandishing, manufacturing explosive materials or devices and possession of a firearm by a minor.

2. When asked if an US-led invasion of the boy's bedroom was
being planned, General Weakan Beatham said: "God, no! He's too well armed!"
