U.S. supports nuclear pardon
ISLAMABAD (CNN) -- The United States has supported Pakistan's presidential pardon of Abdul Qadeer Khan, after the father of the nation's nuclear program admitted he gave nuclear weapons technology to other countries.

President Pervez Musharraf's decision to pardon Khan was an internal Pakistani matter, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said.

And in a speech in Washington Thursday, U.S. Director of Intelligence George Tenet said Khan's transfer of nuclear technology "was shaving years" off the time some countries needed to develop nuclear weapons.

"His network is now answering to the world for years of nuclear profiteering," Tenet said.

3. It proves that WMD are really no big deal...
...just a convenient pre-text for invading any country of our choosing. Iraq was never about nukes or bio weapons. It was always about conquest.

There complete support of the lying charming dictator in Islamabad proves they couldn't care less about nuclear arms proliferation.

My question is.. what the hell does Bush care about?

4. Nuclear arms proliferation- now an internal matter?
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 10:23 AM by teryang
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the first acts of the chimp regime of lies after 911 was to remove the American military trade sanctions on Pakistan for being the world's number one proliferator. It was obviously planned ahead of 911 as the logistics for American attacks on Afghanistan from Pakistan were already planned and carried out almost immediately.

On edit:

Of course, Pakistan was one of the major supporters of international terrorism but that never seemed to bother anyone associated with our regime. In fact, it was downright convenient.

The headline for this topic should be America supports nuclear proliferation and terrorism. Next, OBL will be offered a pardon for helping chimp with his polls and foreign policy.
