US says to hunt Turkish Kurd separatists in Iraq
http://www.iraqwar.ru/iraq-read_article.php?articleId=35055&lang=en

The U.S.-led occupation authority in Iraq said on Friday it would hunt down separatist Turkish Kurds based in Iraq, long viewed by Washington as "terrorists".

Iraq's U.S. governor Paul Bremer said this week fighters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), whose conflict with the Turkish state claimed some 30,000 lives, would be treated as terrorists and had no place "in the new Iraq".

The remarks came as Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan visited the United States where U.S. President George W. Bush repeated commitments to a "territorially intact" Iraq and sought to allay fears that Iraqi Kurds might seek a breakaway state.

Ankara fears wide autonomy for Iraq's Kurds could rekindle separatism among its own 12 million Kurds.

"We are putting the PKK and all its affiliate organisations on notice that we will continue... to try to capture or kill them," Dan Senor, spokesman for the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA), told reporters in Baghdad.

4. How does one tell a Kurd separatist from a non-Kurd separatist?
Do the Kurds wear identification tags or something? And by the way. Ain't this what Saddam was doing to "his own people"?

6. Other than the 'suits'...
What is the problem again with Kurds having their nation?

That part eludes me...

maybe the should see this as an opportunity to negotiate with the Kurdish people as opposed to killing them...
