WASHINGTON (AP) — President Bush and his wife, Laura, went to a wake for Tim Russert, the television newsman who died last Friday.

Bush and his wife rode in a short, unmarked motorcade to St. Albans School in Northwest Washington, where the wake was being held Tuesday in the refectory.

White House press secretary Dana Perino said that Bush wanted to pay his respects and offer his deepest sympathies to the Russert family.

The funeral for the 58-year-old of NBC's "Meet the Press" is scheduled to take place Wednesday.

Bastard can't be bothered to go to a funeral for any of his 4000+ soldiers, but he'll go for his toady.

22. SHHHH! You are talking sanely while brave keyboard warriors are busy
dancing on a grave. Let them have this proud moment. They rarely get to show their true selves in public.

6. If the funeral is in a Catholic church, they might accidentally
sprinkle holy water on Bush and he might dissolve.

13. Attends? DESECRATES!
There is no grieving event event he can attend that doesn't
fill me with disgust - Tim Russert, MLK, Jr., or a fallen
soldier - wait, strike that, Bush hasn't been to any of their
funerals. Cannon fodder doesn't deserve his time - no
photo-op. Every time I see Bush at Arlington, I see a monkey
relieving itself on a white cross. We'll miss Russert - Bush
blesses his departure.

14. Tim said all he could to make Lil Bush look good, on the other hand
those who died following Lil Bush's orders just make Lil Bush look worse and worse.

Lil Bush can't tolerate anyone making him look bad.

21. Tim was a mouthpiece for the Bush Crime Family. It was
the least chimp could do, and he didn't have to put himself out to do it since it was local.
