Poll: Three-quarters think U.S. in recession

The economy is the top issue for Americans, CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll says

Iraq ranks as the second most important issue, survey shows

By Paul Steinhauser
CNN Washington Bureau

(CNN) -- Nearly three-quarters of all Americans think the economy is in a recession, according to a national poll released Monday.

Seventy-four percent of those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey say the economy has entered a recession.

That figure is up from 66 percent who felt that way in a similar survey last month. The number stood at 61 percent in January and 46 percent in October.

It's no surprise then that the economy remains the key issue in the public's mind. By a 2-1 margin, it tops the Iraq war as the No. 1 issue for Americans in their choice for president.

4. How many will think we are a recession when
they are standing in line at the soup kitchen, or counting their bread ration coupons?

5. I could shred...
Developing an overarching narrative that links the recession(or worse), the war and the lawless climate in the US for those of the "right" economic and social status.

Because it is all linked.

Let's see if those expensive Dem consultants have the smarts and bottle to develop one as well, and the yarbles to put it out.

9. BIASED poll! Has ANYONE spoken to the CEOs?
:sarcasm:

Yeah, the people who work for a living are pretty much taking it in the shorts, while George W. Bush's "base"...the "haves" and the "have mores"...are having their Holiday In The Sun, enjoying the new Belsen (hat tip to the Sex Pistols)...

My advice to anyone who voted for the Boy King, who ISN'T a CEO, who ISN'T enjoying a quadruple-fold increase on their paycheck and stock options...

...grab the AquaLube, Grab yer ankles, and STFU...YOU made this happen. You made the bed, so lie in it, and STFU.

:patriot:
