1. The beauty of this poll is that it was conducted Jan. 10-12,
Which was before the O'Neill story hit big time.

15. You're right! And that's--
-- big news. Karl Rove will probably have Saddam "escape" and then get re-captured.

22. Any doubt that they have OBL for a timely release?
He ought to be worth an 8 point jump, so they'll save that one for October.

5. This might require a Warp Drive photo-op!
Or at the very least a transporter press release.

18. Maybe this time Bush will wear a spacesuit with a stuffed crotch
when he makes the announcement. Playing dress-up seems to work better for him.

20. "colonize the Sun"
Bush: I want to colonize the Sun!!!
NASA: But sir, that's impossible! Any expedition to the Sun would result in its members being burnt to a cinder!
Bush: Then we'll go at night!
(insert rimshot here)
:silly:

8. Yes, an October Surprise is certain
I can't decide if OBL will be pulled out of a spider hole, or if San Francisco will be hit with a dirty bomb. Maybe both.

14. I think earlier than October
I think the OBL bombshell will be used earlier than October. I think they will capture him about a week after the Democratic Convention to counter the convention bounce. That sets them up to do the Repugnantcan Convention in early September, which heads straight into their exploitation of 9/11 anniversary/groundbreaking ceremonies. That still leaves eight weeks before the election, but they've already got that fixed. Just a thought.

9. I'd be willing to bet,
that a substantial amount of the loss is from the cons who hate immigrants.

If * keeps alienating his base this is going to be cake walk.

10. Hooray!
Let's work to get it down to the 30% of Americans who are just plain clueless. And of course the 1% who are making a killing off him.

28. more democratic primary news is bad news for bush
the recent spate of publicity that the democratic primaries has stirred has more people listening to what the democrats are saying.

not everyone is a news junkie and some people have only recently begun to tune in on political campaigns. the more that people hear of alternatives to bush and his regime, the more people will want someone else.
