By NEDRA PICKLER – 2 hours ago

WASHINGTON (AP) — A longtime Democratic fundraiser has abandoned Barack Obama's campaign to help rival Hillary Rodham Clinton win the party's presidential nomination.

Bob Farmer, who was a top fundraiser for several past Democratic presidential candidates, had served on Obama's national finance committee.

Farmer did not respond to a request for comment after a message was left at his home in Bal Harbour, Fla. But Kirk Wagar, Obama's Florida finance chair, said Farmer let him know he was switching sides without saying why.

"I thanked him," Wagar said.

1. Wow.
I guess even the insiders know the fix is in and they better jump on the train.
Like Hillary needs more money.:puke:
It's time for the citizens to take back this country and the FIRST thing they need to do is to select THEIR candidate.
Not the one the corporations have deemed for us to have.

2. We also can figure out Obama will be Hillary's VP
This seems obvious at this point, as well.

21. No Way!
With Bill Clinton there, the vice president will be less needed and designated to attending funerals the way they used to be!
Gore and Cheney have been the exception.
Two presidents...a former and the new one, would be very interesting!

5. Not in a million years.
Her VP will be another corporatist or an impotent funeral attender.

14. NO! Unless the votes are Diebolded, there's no push polling when we go to the polls.
Gee, I wonder if the whores in the corporate M$M will even permit us "peasant classes" to cast our ballots since they've already declared a winner MONTHS before the voting even begins? :(

8. The Clinton's hold grudges
and they are pissed that Obama has challenged Hillary for something that is rightfully hers. There is no way they will ask Obama to be the VP. I seriously doubt he would accept it anyway. IMHO

10. this election needs to be about much more than pacifying Clinton's
grudges. It has to be about winning the election and I personally feel that it's already been taken out of our hands. If she is nominated, the dems will lose. I think this why corporations are pumping millions into her campaign.

11. It has been illegal for corporations to donate to federal
candidates for decades. The Federal Election Commission reports show no donations to Clinton (or any other presidential candidate) by corporations. Do you have information this is wrong? If so, please identify it and also report it to the FEC.

16. Obama's raised more money here in our state than any pres. candidate in the history of
the state (primary races). Not too shabby. Mr. Farmer, adios.
