PressTVThe Iranian President and his Zimbabwean counterpart have met and conferred on exploring avenues for the expansion of cooperation.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Robert Mugabe who visited each other on the sidelines of the 62nd UN General Assembly in New York stressed the necessity of unity among developing nations in face of the United States and Britain's new dominance.
Iran's President emphasized that political and geographically-based groups including the Non-Aligned Movement, Group 15 and Group 77 should become active.
Ahmadinejad also thanked Zimbabwe for its active role in the NAM meeting on Human Rights and Cultural Diversity which was recently held in Tehran.
