Craig Bungling Continues

On “America’s Most Wanted” television show, suspects often get identified after their pictures are aired. Such was the case when Larry Craig’s daughter, Shea Suzanne Howell appeared on ABC.

Craig can add the arrest of his daughter to the list of unintended consequences he is racking up. This sad event proves that “no good deed goes unpunished.”

After her national TV appearance, a GUARDIAN reader put two and two together and sent this little unsolicited nugget late Wednesday from the Ada Sheriff’s warrant list:

“You would think the Boise police would go ahead and arrest the “stand up” character witness’s Larry had with him Saturday!”

Sometimes, you just can't make this stuff up. I hope Craig fights this to the death. I want to see Fred Thompson asked about Craig at least 1,000 times during this campaign. I want 24/7 coverage of the "slimy" Repukes.

8. The Family that's deceitful together, stays together.

Wonder if his daughter was trying to keep this quiet? Just like her dad. Maybe she didn't tell her family, husband, associates, coleagues and lawyers. Could be simply following dads example.

I normally don't pick on the children of politicians, but when she got up and defended her dads unbelievable excuses, I think that makes her "fair game".

I'm curious what she did, and the article doesn't say, but "unlawful entry and maliscious damage to property" doesn't sound like a family value that I teach.

Maybe she acted out that new popular country song...

Actually, this is wonderful. I think Sen. Craig should get in there and fight, hang on with his fingernails, stall some more, in general threaten the Repubs for dumping him so coldly. Soap opera is great! When it involves the GOP.

10. Someone please help this family!

This is a family that is clearly hurting and has some serious, serious issues that they all need to work through and be honest about with themselves first and then eachother.

Craig is a stupid man in addition to being a self-loathing and tormented closeted homosexual. His whole life is a lie and he has lied to everyone around him and continues to. If he was smart, he would have resigned and gone and gotten counseling and made peace with himself and his family and started being truthful. His daughter meanwhile seems to be suffering from her own issues involving anger and secrets. And no one else has said this, but I'll then be the first to say what I thought when I saw the brother/son of Craig - but when I saw him, I wondered to myself "is it possible he's also not being honest?"....

As much as I loathe the hypocrisy that Larry Craig represents and the hateful legislation he has done against the gay community, I will say that I feel sorry for him as a human being and I hope that he finds the truth and then make amends someday for his damages to others, including the gay community.
