AP:Tillman Memo Contradicted Citation
Source: Associated Press

Just a day after approving a medal claiming former NFL player Pat Tillman had been cut down by "devastating enemy fire" in Afghanistan, a high-ranking general tried to warn President Bush that the story might not be true, according to testimony obtained by The Associated Press.

Despite this apparent contradiction, Lt. Gen. Stanley McChrystal was spared punishment in the latest review of Tillman's shooting. On Tuesday, the Army overruled a Pentagon recommendation that he be held accountable for his "misleading" actions.

In a sometimes contentious November interview under oath and via videoconference, Pentagon investigators sharply questioned McChrystal about the conflicting accounts, according to the testimony obtained by the AP under the Freedom of Information Act.

McChrystal acknowledged he had suspected several days prior to approving the Silver Star citation on April 28, 2004, that Tillman may have died by fratricide.

2. "I expect my republicon Homelander cronies to lie." - Commander AWOL

"After all, lying is the ONLY thing we republicon Homelanders are good at. Screw Pat Tillman and the other troops. He was only useful as a propaganda tool for a little while. Onward, republicons Homelanders, for War Profits to fatten the elite. Lie, lie, lie, and lie some more. We just might find those WMDs some day. Smirk, smirk, smirk."

And finally realize that they are being systematically lied to, used, and abused by Commander AWOL and the phalanx of Chickehawk republicon Homelanders at the top of the republicon shit heap.

The republicon homelander chickenhawks merit no respect, for they have no honor -- and they treat our sons and daughters in uniform worse than cannon fodder -- as propaganda projectiles to be catapulted in the service of fat cat republicon Homelander crony War Profits.

6. Fratricide be damned. It was MURDER.

Placing three shots in a group as tight as two inches means they were aimed intentionally.

Add to that the fact that the physics of the situation says that he had to have been sitting with his head supported from the rear, like against a wall for example. Otherwise the head would have moved from the first shot and again from the second.

Of course we know WHY he was murdered, don't we?

He had said publicly that the Bush/Cheney war in Iraq was taking much needed manpower from the real war on terra in Afghanistan. We certainly can't have some low ranking grunt disrespecting the Presnit can we?

So the answer likely came from Darth Dick: Kill him and make him out to be a hero who gave his life in the service of his country. I don't believe this is the first intentional murder this criminal group has been responsible for.

7. Somebody with clout has got to call for a murder investigation.
The argument is wrong. It's not who covered up the fratricide, but who and why was he killed. There are witnesses.

10. Who presented the material to McChrystal?
Another Army general, William Wallace, concluded McChrystal had behaved reasonably in assuming the supporting material presented to him for Tillman's Silver Star recommendation was accurate. The Army's statement Tuesday made no mention of McChrystal's acknowledgment under oath that he had known prior to approving the Silver Star that fratricide was a strong possibility.

12. William Wallace needs to be called to the congressional hearing as well
I think he's a bit of a decoy in this as well, as was Rummy. Somebody told Wallace to tell the new Sec. of the Army (since July 16, 2007) to countermand the Pentagon and dismiss all charges against McChrystal, and that happened on Tues. On Wed. McChrystal was supposed to testify. He declined, and Rummy showed up in his place, acting like the "big fish."

It's McChrystal that needs to be grilled under oath, as well as Geren (sec. of army) and Wallace.
