Another school shooting, this time a suicide-only, at a small high school in suburban Philadelphia

"A student brought a rifle to Springfield High School on Tuesday morning and shot himself inside the school, sending other students fleeing for cover.

School district officials say one else was injured, and the school was placed in lockdown as police and school officials investigated. The Montgomery County coroner was called to the scene, indicating a fatality."

1. Imagine if the teachers had been armed

It's unbelievable, but true that some people believe that teachers should carry firearms to school to prevent another Columbine-type incident. How would an armed teacher have responded to the sight of a student pulling out a rifle?

Man, I am so glad that I graduated over 30 years ago. School today just sucks.
