Posters of terror suspects displayed at U.S. airports during holiday season

WASHINGTON, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- Hundreds of wanted-terrorist posters are being distributed during the holiday season to U.S. airports by the U.S. State Department Bureau of Diplomatic Security in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

The poster, "The Faces of Global Terrorism," identifies 26 known terrorist suspects with reward offers of up to 25 million dollars as part of the Rewards For Justice (RFJ) program. Well-known images of al-Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri are joined on the poster by the most recent addition to the RFJ program, American-born terrorist suspect Adam Gadahn.

More than 500 posters are on their way to major airports in New York City, Houston, Kansas City, Newark, Sacramento and Washington, D.C. Smaller airports across the United States also requesting posters, the State Department announcement said.

"Increasing an airline traveler's awareness of wanted terrorists is part of the U.S. government's mission in fighting the war on terror," the announcent said. "These posters will increase this awareness for both travelers and airport workers". (end) rm.

4. I predict
a whole bunch of false alarms, traveler harassment, and ceaseless hick-toned utterances of "they all look alike to me."

7. Exactly - Muslims won't be able to fly without being harassed
Expect more incidents like what happened with the imams a few weeks ago.

17. Yep but at least the kids will have something ...
... to draw on while they're waiting to be searched for dangerous liquids.

Maybe they should collect in all the posters after New Year and display
the most artistic results?

10. Part of the War on Christmas
Instead of Deck the Halls, it's HIT THE DECKS,

instead of God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, it's Let's Make Sure You Dismay

instead of Silent Night, it's PANIC PANIC PANIC

I could go on, but you get the drift.

18. actually, bush's terror photo is at many airports
His "wanted" photo hangs in immigration departments and passport control,
just in case anybody sees the bastard, to arrest him on the spot.

19. Guess we'd better get to the airport three days early...
What a boon doggle this is going to create for
traveling people. Especially if they are not
blue eyed blondes.

God help any one who is Muslim while standing
in the security line...

20. I wonder if certain arrest would transpire if folks were to replace the images
with 3" images of George, Dick, Condi, and Donald.

I'm almost half-tempted to attempt this.
