Sarasota, FL – Citing statistical and eyewitness evidence of significant machine malfunctions sufficient to call into doubt the result of the election for Florida Congressional District 13, the Christine Jennings campaign today officially contested the election in Circuit Court. The complaint specifically requests the judge to order a new election “to ensure that the will of the people of the Thirteenth District is respected, and to restore the confidence of the electorate, which has been badly fractured by this machine-induced debacle.”

Jennings won Sarasota County by 53% to 47%, and is likely to see the same split in a revote, but with all the votes counted, she stands to win by hmmmmmm more than a 1000 votes easy I think, RIght now.. she lost by 369 votes.

2. The way this election was run is totally absurd. 18,000 undervotes, for

godssakes--ONLY for Congress, in a hotly contested Congressional race, in the hottest national midterm elections in a decade. I think Jennings has the goods on them--and I hope this means, not only that the right person goes to Congress, but that ES&S is discredited and that ES&S and its brethren Diebold finally get the boot by the American people. These rightwing electronic voting corporations are so-o-o-o not interested in democracy!

Even though it was at different times. I couldn't help but think it ODD that all 3 evil doers had to show up in my town when all the while they were dissing Harris???? How convenient that now there are 18K missing votes! dah I wonder why?

11. Pretty much all the surrounding areas had undervote rates below

5%, in the Congressional races, alot in the 2% to 3% area. DAmn straight, need a revote. 16% is whacked.
