Senator Eduardo Azeredo (PSDB-MG) agreed this Tuesday to withdraw his Internet usage regulation proposal from the voting schedule of the Senate's Constitution & Justice Commission.

The proposal mandated identification of Internet users before any interactive action like IM usage, e-mails, online banking, and downloads.

It is out of the voting schedule after heavy criticism by government officials*, specialists, and Internet-related civil groups.
